Lotfi Mansouri knows where the bodies are buried and then some. He (with his ghost-writer) has written a very entertaining easy-to-read memoir of his life as an opera impresario. His book is a good introduction to opera for those not familiar with it, and an equally interesting look at backstage machinations for those who are buffs/5(11).

Lotfollah "Lotfi" Mansouri (15 June – 30 August ) was an Iranian-born opera director and manager.
